Undertook Phase 1 desk top study support a planning application of the former farm building used as general maintenance, cow byre and milking parlour being proposed for conversion to a residential dwelling.  Undertook shallow intrusive ground investigation within the buildings and externally. Proved elevated PAHs and lead and sporadic asbestos fibres from asbestos-containing roof materials.

Produced remediation strategy and gas specification to allow retrofitting of the building with gas protection measures including sub-floor ventilation to the satisfaction of the local planning authority.
